Biography
Dr. Stachenfeld is an Associate Fellow at the John B. Pierce Laboratory and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale University School of Medicine. My primary research focus is the impact of reproductive hormones on physiological responses to environmental challenges in women. To this end, my work has emphasized fluid regulatory and cardiovascular responses to exercise and temperature exposure.
Research Interest
Our current studies focus on reproductive hormone effects on blood pressure control, autonomic function and endothelial function.
